The Baina beach is located in the port town of Mormugao which
is also just 3 mins drive from the Airport. It is a very beautiful
beach where one can enjoy an evening walk or a nice and relaxing
swim. One can also enjoy water sports like kayaking, wind-surfing,
para-sailing, banana boat ride, jet-ski, under water sea walk
where one can touch the fishes or play with them, the beach
over here is now also known to be a tourist spot in Goa.
At the beach in Baina, Goa one can often witness and enjoy
some cultural programmes and beach festivals which are held.
The beach is visited by many tourists now as it is just a
walk away from the city and is considered quite a safe beach.
The Baina beach is also visited as one can experience India's
first ever underwater sea walk here, due to this one gets
a chance to be up close with the water world and one can also
enjoy the unique experience to explore the sea.
The baina beach is the closest point to the virgin islands
which is yet not destroyed by human kind. One can from here
hire boats and go to the island for a nice picnic or barbeque
on the beach. It is also good fun to do fishing over here
and there are many fishing points over here. One of the attraction
over here close to the beach is the Japanese Garden which
indeed has a rich story and history behind it.
